2-8-10   The Boys Modified Team completed their season with a win over Wheelerville 36 - 19.  The team had an outstanding season.  Congratulations athletes!   The Girls JV team lost 23 - 13 against Remsen.

2-4-10   Both JV and Varsity Girls beat the Johnsburg Jaguars.  The JV score was 51 - 10.  The varsity game began with Senior Recognition Night honoring players Jasmine Sherman, Lizzie Perkins and Val Hayes as well as statistician Ashley Anderson.  Thanks seniors for your dedication and hard work the past three years.  The Varsity won 68 - 54.

2-2-10  Both JV and Varsity Girls beat Keene.  JV  35 - 29, Varsity 35 - 29.  Coach Fisher said,  "A strong defense and clutch free-throw shooting won it for our varsity team."

1-27-10     Congratulations to Samantha Zemken and the Lake Pleasant/Wells Girls Modified Basketball Team.  The team won their final game today making it an undefeated season. //

1-26-10  The Boys Modified team lost to Lake Pleasant 21 - 27.  //

1-25-10     The Wells Boys Modified team beat Bolton 34 - 20.  It was a great team effort with Steven Tomlinson, Jake Earley, Kenny Chicoski, David Foster, and Dakota Wilson scoring six points each.  Adrian Collado and Ben Brenan also scored.  The Boys Varsity was defeated by Bolton 29 - 61. //

1-22-10  The Wells/Lake Pleasant Modified Girls Team beat Westport.  Our JV team also won beating the undefeated Westport team 34 - 24.  The Girls Varsity Team played with heart, but was defeated 74 - 34.  The Modified Boys Team was defeated by Lake Pleasant 24 - 39 but has a second chance on Tuesday, January 26. //

1-21-10  Congratulations to the Boys Modified Basketball Team for the win over Keene 44 - 37.  The entire team showed great effort.  Also, the Boys Varsity had a strong second half but lost to Keene 42-24.  Nice game boys. //

1-20-10  Girls JV beat Johnsburg 45 - 25.  Girls Varsity had a great defensive game against Johnsburg with a score of 63 - 52. //

1-14-10  The Girls Varsity Basketball Team beat Minerva-Newcomb with a score of 57-27.  Congratulations, girls! //

1-13-10  Congratulations to both Boys Varsity and Modified Basketball Teams for their wins against Minerva/Newcomb.  Varsity 35 - 27 and modified 33 -28. //

1-11-10 Congratulations to the Boys Modified Basketball Team for their overtime win against Long Lake. The Indians beat undefeated Long Lake 46 to 40. Nice job, boys! //

1-9-10 Congratulations to the Girls JV Basketball Team. This weekend they finished second place in the tournament they hosted. 12-3-09 Boys Varsity - Wells 46, Minerva/Newcomb 35 Shane Raymond racked up 18 points, 10 rebounds and four steals to help Wells achieve its first win in over a year, beating Minerva/Newcomb in the Mountain and Valley league. The Indians, who went 0 - 18 last season, were also aided by Josh Fish with 15 points and eight rebounds. Minerva/Newcomb kept the game close with Tatsuki Miyozato and Dillon Saville tallying 12 points each. //
