Wednesday, February 17, 2010, was the Wells Central School celebration of the hundredth day of school. In past years, the morning program would celebrate by eating cupcakes and playing games, but this year they tried something new, a tricky tray. Each child and teacher brought in an old or unused toy to put in the tricky tray. Each child then received tickets to put in the cup of the toy of their choice. Every child won a prize. The idea to celebrate the hundredth day of school came from a guest speaker who had done this with the morning program kids. This auction was a huge hit among the kids. The Wells Central School morning program definitely agrees that "one man's junk is another man's treasure."
